English Premier League

Sunday, 18th January, 16:00 UK Time

Manchester City can look imperious at times, then they seem to hit a little bump in the road and suddenly they start to look a little shaky. Thousands of Arsenal fans, and no doubt plenty of Chelsea supporters as well, will hope they suffer a little blip on Sunday afternoon, although I for one can’t see it happening. After a disappointing 1-1 draw at Everton last Saturday, I can see City winning with ease against The Gunners.

Last Sunday, Arsenal brushed aside Stoke with a 3-0 victory that was as comfortable as they get - how Arsene Wenger must wish his side could be allowed to only play Stoke at home - and match-winner Alexis Sanchez was the star of the show. The Chilean is winning many friends in the Premier League at the moment, and it’s hardly surprising when you see the quality of his play. No doubt City are already planning a £50 million bid for the summer.

I think Arsenal are more than capable of claiming a Champions League place for the umpteenth time in a row this season, but I can’t see them getting anything from this trip north. The return to fitness of City striker Sergio Aguerro has come at a bad time for Wenger and his boys.

Manchester City to win at home to Arsenal. Grab them at 1.80.
