FA Cup

Saturday, 24th January, 15:00 UK Time

If I said Spurs will win this game 2-1 thanks to a late goal, I don’t think anyone would be surprised. The North London side managed three points last week thanks yet again to a last-gasp winner, and it would appear that the gods of football are being particularly kind to the club at the moment. How their fans would love to see their side lift the trophy that Arsenal won last time around.

In order to progress to the next stage, Tottenham will have to get past a stubborn Leicester defence. The Foxes may not be the toughest side to beat in the Premier League, but they are more than capable of creating an upset here. Whether manager Nigel Pearson decides to rest key players remains to be seen, but there’s a fair chance that record signing Andrey Kramaric will get a chance to lead the line up front.

The FA Cup represents a real chance for Tottenham to win some silverware, but will perhaps be seen as an unnecessary inconvenience for Leicester City. Because of this disparity of opinions about the competition, I can see one side taking things more seriously than the other. I think the end result of that will be an easy win for Spurs, without the need for a replay.

Tottenham Hotspur to win at home to Leicester City. Grab them at 1.61.
