Liverpool will enter this game seeking their first Premier League victory of 2017 and host a Tottenham team unbeaten in competitive action since losing at Old Trafford during mid-December.

Towards the end of last year, Liverpool won four consecutive league games and were considered the main threat to Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table, but they have won just one competitive game since the beginning of January and have earned just three points from five league contests. However, expect a reaction from the Reds after manager Jurgen Klopp expressed his disappointment with last weekend’s performance in a 2-0 loss at Hull and odds of 2.20 are being offered on Liverpool winning this game. Klopp’s team can also be backed at 8.50 to win 1-0 as per their last Premier League victory when beating Manchester City at Anfield.

Georginio Wijnaldum scored the only goal that day and all three of his league goals this term have been netted at Anfield with the Dutchman priced at 5.50 to feature on the score sheet and 15.00 to be Last Goalscorer for the fourth time this season.

There will also be hope that Sadio Mane can rediscover his form prior to the African Nations Cup as he opened the scoring in four matches from mid-October through to his departure for the tournament, and the Senegalese international is quoted at 8.50 to be First Goalscorer plus 4.50 to net in a home win. Odds of 4.00 are also available for Adam Lallana to net his first goal of 2017 after he claimed four league goals during December.

Ahead of their visit to Anfield, Tottenham have won seven league matches since they were beaten 1-0 by Manchester United in mid-December, and they are offered at 3.40 to claim another three points from this encounter. Besides becoming Chelsea’s nearest challengers in the Premier League prior to the weekend fixtures, Spurs have also registered four clean sheets in league action this year with odds of 6.00 available for the team to win this match without conceding a goal.

Until their two most recent matches when a Harry Kane converted penalty has been their only goal scored, Spurs had been finding the net on very regular basis with 35 strikes claimed from the beginning of December as Kane and Dele Alli became the most prolific of the marksmen. Alli netted ten goals during that period and is quoted at 3.00 to feature on the score sheet again plus 5.00 to score a goal in an away win.

Kane can be backed at 7.00 to be First Goalscorer for the fifth time inside three months whereas Son Heung-Min completed the scoring on three occasions last month and is offered at 9.50 to be Last Goalscorer.

The last two league meetings between these two teams finished in a 1-1 draw and a repeat is priced at 6.50 with Liverpool also available at 9.50 to repeat their 2-1 EFL Cup victory at Anfield against Spurs earlier this season. Odds of 4.00 and 5.00 are also being quoted on one goal winning margins for Liverpool and Tottenham respectively.

Other Available Bets:

A draw is 3.30.
A 0-0 draw is 11.00.
Sadio Mane netting first in 1-0 and 2-1 victories for Liverpool is 36.00 and 41.00 respectively.
Dele Alli scoring first in 1-0 and 2-1 wins for Tottenham is 51.00 and 56.00 respectively.
