English Premier League
Who: Chelsea v Arsenal
When: Saturday 4th February, 12.30 UK time
Live on: Sky Sports 1

Chelsea have won each of their home games since the beginning of October and now host a London derby against an Arsenal team hoping for a response to their surprise home defeat by Watford in midweek.

Although Chelsea drew 1-1 at Liverpool on Tuesday evening, their failure to convert a late penalty prevented the team from establishing a lead of eleven points at the top of the Premier League table, but they now return to Stamford Bridge where they have won ten successive competitive matches. Another win for the Blues is offered at 1.95 and with seven clean sheets registered in those ten home victories, a win via a clean sheet is quoted at 3.25.

Diego Costa missed that vital penalty in midweek, but he has opened the scoring in three of those home victories and is quoted at 4.50 to be First Goalscorer in this contest plus 2.62 to claim a goal in a Chelsea victory.

Gary Cahill has found the net in the latest two Premier League contests at the Bridge and can be backed at 9.00 to feature on Saturday’s score sheet whereas Pedro has netted five goals for the team since Boxing Day. The Spaniard is priced at 3.00 to score another goal with odds of 7.00 available for him to be Last Goalscorer for the third time this year.

Ahead of this game at Stamford Bridge, Arsenal were unbeaten since the final fixture of 2016 before suffering a 2-1 home defeat by Watford in midweek and they conceded two early goals in that match. However, the Gunners have won three consecutive contests on the road and are offered at 4.00 to win their first game at Chelsea since claiming a 5-3 victory during October 2011. Arsenal can also be backed at 7.50 to register a third consecutive clean sheet on away soil.

That loss for Arsenal in midweek had followed a 5-0 FA Cup win at Southampton in which Danny Welbeck had scored the opening two goals, but he was officially rested on Tuesday evening. The England international is expected to feature in this game and is quoted at 8.50 to be First Goalscorer while Theo Walcott is offered at 3.75 to follow his hat-trick in that same match by netting on Saturday.

Alexis Sanchez will also be hoping to score in a fourth match this year and is available at 5.00 to net in away victory whereas Alex Iwobi is offered at 12.00 to be Last Goalscorer for the fourth time since mid-December.

Chelsea have won the corresponding fixture via 2-0 scorelines in the past two seasons and are priced at 9.50 to win by the same result. The Blues can also be backed at 3.75 and 5.00 for one and two goal winning margins with Arsenal quoted at 6.50 to claim victory by one clear goal. With the Gunners scoring at least one second half goal in each of their last eight matches, they are available at 1.44 for netting more than 0.5 goals after the interval.
