English Premier League
Who: Arsenal v Hull
When: Saturday 11th February, 12.30 UK time
Live on: Sky Sports 1

Two successive defeats have dented Arsenal’s hopes of challenging Chelsea for the Premier League title, and they now host a Hull team showing recent signs of regaining form in their quest to avoid relegation to the Championship.

Although Arsenal did squander some goal opportunities when playing at Chelsea last weekend, they eventually suffered a 3-1 loss which followed a damaging 2-1 home defeat by Watford. A title challenge by the Gunners is again being cast into doubt, but they had won five successive league games at the Emirates prior to the Watford loss and are offered at 1.30 for a return to winning ways on Saturday. However, with defensive frailties evident in their latest two fixtures, a home win with both teams scoring is quoted at 2.62.

When Arsenal played in the reverse fixture at the KCOM Stadium, they claimed a 4-1 victory with Alexis Sanchez netting a brace and opening the scoring. The Chilean international is offered at 4.00 to be First Goalscorer in this match and 1.91 for netting in a home victory.

Odds of 4.00 are also available for Olivier Giroud to be Last Goalscorer for the fourth time this year with Alex Iwobi quoted at 2.75 to net his third league goal at the Emirates during 2017.

Hull last won at the Emirates during September 2008 when claiming a 2-1 win in a Premier League match and they can be backed at 41.00 for a repeat winning scoreline. However, the Tigers had lost nine successive Premier League games on the road prior to drawing 0-0 at Old Trafford earlier this month and then beating Liverpool 2-0 on home soil last weekend, amid signs that new manager Marco Silva is instilling more confidence into the team. Odds on Silva guiding Hull to another victory are available at 10.00.

When Hull beat Liverpool last weekend, recent signing Alfred N’Diaye netted on his Premier League debut for the team by opening the scoring, and he is quoted at 26.00 to be First Goalscorer again whereas fellow Senegalese player Oumar Niasse has completed the scoring in two recent matches and can be backed at 13.00 to be Last Goalscorer.

Having failed to score more than once in any Premier League away game since the beginning of September, Hull are offered at 2.50 to score exactly 1 goal on Saturday plus 5.00 to net 2 or more goals. The Tigers are also priced at 13.00 to win by one clear goal with Arsenal quoted at 4.00 for both one and two goal winning margins.
